The Mission: Retire our only remaining debt
The Rationale: In the year before we moved to London, we were able to retire almost all of our debts, and were planning on using the proceeds from the sale of our house to pay off the final few things and finance the move to London. It turned out that the moving expenses were a few thousand dollars more than we had budgeted for, and so one of our bills, the last of Jenn’s student loans, went unretired. We have continued to make our regular payments, but would like to retire this debt now as well, so that we can say that we are truly debt free.
