Oliver, I am sorry, but you are nuts. I live in middle Europe. I am from the country you speak of. There is nothing wrong with America except the people we vote into power. Take my advice, please: never mortgage your life away; if you are not a born again capitalist, why sell your soul?
A question: is drinking at 18 and going to war at 21 better? There are plenty of 15 year old drunks in Germany, and the air fare is less.(Than to Eastern Europe). Why not save up a few welfare checks and make a cheaper, drunker, new start?
If you can't get a real job in Germany, join the masses escaping Eastern Europe there and do what is so popular today, beat up the old people.
There is no refuge anywhere. If you run from anything, all you can ever do is look back. Stand up, man!

America is the next Roman Empire, ready and waiting to implode from within. The capitalism that built it will be its own downfall. Why can one buy a gun and die for his/her country at 18 and yet not buy a beer until 21? America, the land where double standards and rules for the sake of rules is the norm.

My recommendation to all American youth is to go on academic welfare for $138,000 on Stafford Loans and see the world, through academic study.

Americans, get out while you can and do not look back, go to Eastern Europe for safe refuge.
