Okay, so I have something of a fascination with bacon-related products, having recently mentioned Bacon Mints, Chocolate-Covered Bacon, Bacon Toffee, and Chicken-Fried Bacon. Now, in honor of my love for all things bacon, and to celebrate my return from the bacon wasteland that is the UK, I have become a Bacontarian.
Adding to my already odd list of bacon related goodness, I give you:
- Bacon Baklava
- Bacon candy
- Smoked Bacon ice cream
- Maple bacon ice cream
- Bacon cookies
- Bacon cupcakes with maple frosting
- Bacon jellybeans
- Bacon maple bars
- The bacon martini
- Cherry chocolate chip bacon cookies
- Bacon-scented candles
- Bacon Bits Swiss Chocolate
- The bacon tuxedo
- Bacon-wrapped dates
- The Bacon robot
- Bacon salt
My arteries are hardening just making this list. If you know of any bacon flavored goodies that I missed, drop them in the comments — I would appreciate it!

I moved to London from the USA last April. I was delighted to find that the Sainsbury’s near me on Cromwell Road has started to sell “American style” bacon. I never thought the words *Oscar Meyer* would make my partner and I so happy.
Even though I’m back in the States now, I still shudder every time I think of the sad back meat that passes for Bacon in the UK. No matter how much I tried to explain it, I couldn’t find a Brit that could grasp that Bacon is a very fatty slab taken from the underside of a pig. Nothing else is properly Bacon.
