After wondering for most of January if perhaps there was not going to be any winter in Europe this year, we are pleased to report that Mother Nature has finally relented and sent a bit of the white stuff for us to enjoy.

Having moved here from Myrtle Beach, where snow is something you read about, as opposed to actually experience, we are quite enjoying the now very real prospect of having a proper winter.

It seems that this little bout of winter weather may be sticking around for a bit as well. The forecast for today calls for sleet after it warms up a bit, and then freezing temperatures and more snow overnight tonight, which carries the potential to shut things down but good…we can only hope.
