
Carrying on from last week’s Thirteen, here are thirteen ingredients in my kitchen cabinets:
- Tofu: Firm Silken kind
- Instant Miso Soup: for the tofu to go in
- Dried beans: green lentils, yellow lentils, chickpeas, etc…
- Rice: long-grain, brown, wild and basmati
- Coconut Milk: for making Thai rice
- Cous cous: because you can’t always eat rice
- Tea: Earl Gray, Djarleeing, Assam, White and Chai
- Bamboo Shoots: ummm, bamboo
- Water Chestnuts: What are water chestnuts, exactly?
- Wide Udon Noodles: with the last two you get stir-fry
- Honey: for tea (with Lemon)
- Bread: Baguettes and whole-wheat pita this week
- Oatmeal: is there really a better breakfast?

All of those sound good, except for the coconut milk. I can’t stand coconut or coconut milk. The rest sounds delicious!
