Is the refrigerator, as some have suggested, a good indicator of what kind of person someone is? I have no idea, but there are only about thirteen things in mine, so here you go:

1. Coronation Chicken Sandwich Filler: Think chicken chunks in curried mayonnaise.
2. Port Salut: One of my very favorite French cheeses.
3. Pont L’Eveque: Another of my favorite French cheeses, this one to be eaten tonight.
4. 6 Cornish Pasties: Ginster’s brand, if you must know.
5. Apricot Conserve: Bonne Maman in the cute little jars.
6. Eggs: Two. Brown. Free range.
7. Orange Juice: 1 litre, with the “juicy bits” left in.
8. Milk: 2 pints. Whole.
9. Lemon Juice: For tea (w/ honey) and for hummus.
10. Mayonnaise: Hellmann’s thank god!
11. Ginger Ale: 2 litres. Dry, not sweet American style.
12. Green Beans: about a pound
13. Carrots, Celery and Parsley: For soup and such
