so how exactly do you debunk a myth by just putting a headline that denies something that just became a fact? weird.

The myth is that Java isn’t legally available for Linux. The truth is that it now is.

Seems pretty clear to me.

I am the Jon who writes the blog. The post perhaps could have been clearer, and for that I apologize. There is a myth floating around that Java isn’t legally available for Linux distributions, and until the day this was posted, it was true. When I saw the article on ZDNet I scrapped the original post, explaining why it wasn’t available, and posted a link to the freshly minted story.
